Identifying Organs

My students completed the lab "Identifying Organs". They had to define the terms organ and systems. They had to identify common organs found in the human body. I have attached a picture and a short video from the activity.

  1. I enjoyed seeing your class through the video you posted. Is the poster a pre-made poster that already has the organs on it? or did they have to assemble the organs? It looks laminated so that you can use it more than once. Its a great visual for the students to use.

    1. Thank you. It was a very fun activity. The students really enjoy it. The students assemble the organs. This is an example of the "correct" poster.

    2. That's a great graphic organizer. Did you have a word bank for students to choose the body parts from?

  2. Very Good lesson. Good class management. Students were very much engaged and responsive. I love the use of the graphic organizer. However you could use the KWL chart at the beginning to elicit students responses about what they know about their body. You could recognize the evidence of inquiry.
